The Lotaway EQ-800 blew my mind! I’ve tested several column arrays like the typical EV Evolves, RCF Evox, JBL EON ONE, and budget systems like the Harbinger MLS900 and MLS1000…I would put the EQ-800 closer to the EV and RCF Systems! You get such great clarity and full thumping low end for HALF THE PRICE! Oh, and WAY lighter than the nearly 100lbs QSC Subs I was carrying around.I’ve had these for a couple months and tested them outdoors in the crazy Texas heat, and these things hardly heat up! I finally used them for a wedding event, and I was amazed! I have two units, but I only needed one for the room size I was in. You can’t see the speaker in the video, but I am only using one EQ-800, and it’s filling up the whole room with around 70% volume! So far no fail!I took the risk because there were zero reviews. This is a choice I do not regret! And I think you should take a chance on them as well!
Lots of power for a small speakers. Very user friendly.

Update 11/6/25 So I was bumping the speaker in my garage while cleaning it out. I smelled something burning and it smelled electric. Finally the speaker cut out all the bass and when I want to look at it, smoke was coming from the front of the subwoofer vents. I think it’s burning up and I’m super sad because it was a good sounding HUGE bass speaker. Waiting to talk to the company about it. Still 5 stars for the slammin bass this thing makes. (My lapel Mic doesn't like the huge bass and clips out quite a lot from it)I recently picked up the LOTAWAY EQ-800 12” Powered Column Line Array Speaker System, and all I can say is—this thing is an absolute powerhouse. With a rated 3300W of output, I honestly wasn’t prepared for how much sound it could throw. When I first tried it in my living room, the bass was so deep and powerful that it literally shook the house and rattled the windows. The 12-inch subwoofer delivers chest-thumping lows that you can feel, not just hear.It got so loud that I realized I couldn’t do a true full-volume test indoors without upsetting the neighbors, so I actually loaded it up and drove out into the desert just to see what this system could really do. Out there, I cranked it all the way, and it was like having a full concert setup in the middle of nowhere. The clarity was crystal clear even at maximum volume—no distortion, just pure, balanced sound. The column line array design spreads the sound wide and evenly, making it feel immersive from every angle.Setup was quick and easy thanks to the built-in 4-channel mixer and Bluetooth connection. Whether I used it for music playback or plugged in a mic for testing, it handled everything with ease.Overall, the EQ-800 is an absolute beast of a portable PA. Perfect for DJs, parties, weddings, or anyone who wants serious sound. Just be ready—it’s so powerful, you might need wide open space to unleash its full potential. Its such an amazing speaker for the money I am going to get another one and hook them up with the wireless link to have it stereo sound.
Great Sound! High Quality as Brand Name JBL ! Good price!
Good value for the money. Easy set up, with good clear sound. I bought a pair, set them up outside to tryout. I run thru a mixer and equalizer and can't wait to hear them on my next inside gig. Very portable and use less than half the space of my old non-powered speakers. Will update this review after my inside gig in two weeks.
